Food Trends That Are About To Take Over 2021

2020 was a year unlike any other, to put it lightly, and its effects will assuredly still be felt in 2021. That’s particularly true when it comes to what and how people eat. From boxed wine to ghost restaurants, expect to see these food trends gain popularity in 2021.

In October 2020, Whole Foods published a report predicting the trends that’d be taking over the world of food in 2021. One of the trends the company suggested is a rise in popularity for a range of new oils among at-home chefs. These include walnut and pumpkin seed oils.

According to Healthline, walnut seed oil has a number of health benefits: it’s good for your skin, helps lower blood pressure, improves cholesterol levels, and may even have anti-cancer effects. Pumpkin seed oil can have a positive effect on your skin, heart, and prostate; is said to ward off depression; and may even relieve some of the symptoms of menopause.

It won’t all be fancy alternative oils in 2021, though. According to Food Business News, 2021 will also see olive oil reach news heights of popularity. Food trend forecaster Elizabeth Moskow said elenolide, a component in olive oil with anti-hypertensive and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as tyrosol], a compound that protects against neurodegenerative diseases, are particularly attractive to health-conscious eaters.

doTerra is a well known MLM. I wouldn’t put much faith in anything claimed by that company.
They are predatory and spread dangerous information regarding ingestion of essential oils.

  21. Rusty Shackleford on April 21, 2021 at 5:23 pm

Ah, knew there would be another video soon with you guys bashing meat and trying to prop up the idea we should eat plant based meat. Gross.

  23. Sue Shannon on April 21, 2021 at 5:29 pm

I am in the US and have been watching the YouTube Sorted out of the UK. Some of their shows are reviewing food kits purchased from many of London’s restaurants. Is this a trend in the US as well?

  31. Bryan Eisenhart on April 21, 2021 at 5:39 pm

Ok, this garbage foofy food is wussifying America’s youth. Before all this crap, we didn’t need "safe spaces" to protect the fragile feelings of college snowflake. Grow a pair and eat a steak. Plants are there to feed the steers that I want to eat. If this hurts your feelings, go pour yourself a nice big cup of go f— yourself.

  32. bob steadman on April 21, 2021 at 5:40 pm

  42. Just Sayin on April 21, 2021 at 5:50 pm

Well, simply put … I [now] previously enjoyed your channel. Buuuut, now I’m o-u-t as they say. I’m left to wonder how much Gill Bates paid to have this complete BS produced.

  43. Danilo Riffo on April 21, 2021 at 5:51 pm

that copaiba commercial though… disgusting sellouts

  44. Lisa Pop on April 21, 2021 at 5:52 pm

It’s always been easy to make your own jerky at home but media said it was something supposedly only crazy preppers made.
The rest of this was propaganda trash. Buy this expensive boxed food because the government is preventing you from getting those foods yourself "to protect you". Smdh

  45. Nat HWX on April 21, 2021 at 5:52 pm

A simple Google search with tell you there is a lack of clear evidence on Copaiba Oil really works. It’s more likely a snake oil.

  46. Sharpy RokOut on April 21, 2021 at 5:53 pm

Fresh and Easy was ahead of its time

  47. Dayle Diamond on April 21, 2021 at 5:57 pm

DoTerra is an economically abusive multi level marketing scheme that screws its lower level salespeople. Like all MLMs, vast numbers of participants lose money while the executives get rich. They should not be included as a source in your videos.

  48. hannes gratzer on April 21, 2021 at 5:58 pm

    you mean KernΓΆl? XD

  49. MarlonBrandosEyes Mk2 on April 21, 2021 at 5:58 pm

Fs stop trying to push your plant vegan bedwetter agenda. Look up the stats, the tiniest minority are actually interested and eating this disgusting attention seeking crap!

  50. grammaton6leric on April 21, 2021 at 6:00 pm

These comments are a mess. Between the meat fetishists and the global-food conspiracy theorists, who will be left to try the mushroom jerky? The answer is me. That shit looks dank.
