How does Elle Macpherson look so stunning at 54? The supermodel, wellness entrepreneur and Get The Gloss’s monthly columnist was in town recently and stopped by our sofa for a chat with Editor Victoria Woodhall. Here’s a taster…

Her current favourite beauty buys
Elle’s good friend Sam McKnight looks after her hair styling. She loves his new Cool Girl Hair Barely There Texture Mist, £25.
Elle is all about beauty from the inside and so her Super Elixir vitamin, mineral and probiotic powder and Nourishing Protein powder travel sachets are always in her makeup bag (The Super Elixir Shake and Go travel set £75).

Elle’s beauty hotspots in London
She loves Nichola Joss for facials, Josh Wood for her hair colour and Dr Sebagh on Wimpole St for skin treatments.

Fake tan or suntan?
Elle prefers to cover up with sleeves and a hat in the sun and get her glow from Dr Sebagh’s Self-Tanning Drops £35 20ml.

When there’s only five minutes to get ready…
Her daily dose of The Super Elixir, £62 for 300g, comes first, followed by Soleil Tan De Chanel bronzing makeup base £36 and Glossier Boy Brow £14.

Beach waves or blow dry?
“Definitely beach waves.” She simply puts her freshly washed wet hair up in a top knot and when she takes it down the result is a messy wave.

Bad hair days, she’s had a few…
She laughs at the memory of too much Sun-In Hair Lightener turning her hair orange back in the day when she was photographed for Sports Illustrated.

On tech-free mornings
Elle always takes time on waking to meditate and to have a moment of gratitude. She tells us that one of the most positive changes has been delaying switching on all screens, including her phone, until around 10am.

On quitting sugar
“Sugar is a very addictive substance and difficult to give up,” says Elle, who has managed to ditch the white stuff and refined carbs. She tells how she did it.

On sleep
Elle prioritises her sleep in a way she never used to. These days she loves a pillow mist and sleep tea with valerian, “Nature’s valium”.
Sleep Welle Sleep set £72.

I think these health and beauty tips can be found in Elle MacPherson Magazine. They were in Elle Magazine at one point in time when Elle was in between name changes. She decided she was going to reveal her biggest fear in her life in her last name. The massive fear; Fear of consuming a McDonalds Big Mac burger while modeling , either walking down the runway or a print advertisement.

Veggies and fruits have loads of sugar and frequently more sugar than whole grain sourdoughs/pastas.

A bloke talking about makeup, sick! This is a guy transgendered before puberty. These people are Satanists…most celebrities are Satanists, witches (real witches, not what you see in cartoons)…..truth is stranger than fiction. Everything`s done to drag as many people to hell as possible.

YAWN! She is so fake! And she isn’t very nice, know from too many people who have dealt with her, actually some have described her as vile.

If you have a lot of money you can do whatever you want and you have a lot of time to spare. One thing I am very much interested in.Why her hair style has been the same for 35 years? It’s s…o boring.
