Using Lipton Onion Soup in Pork Roast & Onion Roasted Potatoes

Using Lipton Onion Soup in Pork Roast & Onion Roasted Potatoes

In this video, I am showing you how I prepare my pork roast and onion roasted potatoes using Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup. Lipton Onion Soup is a seasoning mix that can be used to make dips or added to meatloaf, burgers, potatoes and more. Any time that I am making a pork roast, I add one a packet. Each packet is about 80 calories.

  6. anbshilling on April 21, 2021 at 5:05 pm

Yum! We do the exact same thing with pork roasts and sometimes we will add 1 can of the healthy request cream of mushroom soup on top and let it cook in that. It makes an excellent gravy that you can top the pork with or potatoes even. 🙂

I used to add it to ground beef (like maybe half a packet for a pound of ground beef) and make hamburgers… gives them a really good flavor. I bet you could add it to turkey to spice up a turkey burger too.

  35. Jennifer Collett on April 21, 2021 at 5:47 pm

It looks nice, but I don’t like Pork

  36. Barbara Greene on April 21, 2021 at 5:49 pm

I love the non-stick foil; it is great!! I will need to try the potatoes like that. I tried once with wedges, but didn’t like all that well. Was probably, too, before the non-stick foil…lol.

Dear Tami, I make this a few times, but I do not peel the potatoes. I cut them in wedges with the peel on. Bake them as usual. They are very good with the peel on. Great side dish for a good steak.
